On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the Town is launching a new Tree Voucher Pilot Program. The new program supports residents in planting more resilient, mature trees on their property, helping to more effectively increase the local tree canopy.
Voucher can only be used one time, in-person, by Halton Hills residents only, maximum number of vouchers available in 2023 is 500, pilot program runs from April 26 to October 31, 2023.

Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan |
The Town of Halton Hills and Credit Valley Conservation have developed a Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan for the Hungry Hollow - Delrex Neighbourhood. This plan advances the Town's Climate Change Adaptation Plan and identifies actions to help the community become more environmentally sustainable and resilient to the impacts of climate change. Earth Week 2023 |
Halton Hills celebrated Earth Week from April 21 to 28, where residents, organizations, businesses, and schools took actions to support a healthy environment, strong local tree canopy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen the resiliency of our community. Some highlights from the week are:
