Youth Taxi Scrip Program

The Youth Taxi Scrip Program is a service for Halton Hills youth ages 13 to 24, providing riders a 40% discount on regular taxi fare (with participating taxi companies) through the Youth Taxi Scrip Coupon Book. The program is only available to registered youth. Complete the Youth Taxi Scrip application to register today.

How to Use the Program

1. Book your ride
   Call a participating taxi company directly:
   G‑Town Taxi: 905‑873‑2222 (accessible vehicles available)

2. Bring your identification
   When the taxi arrives, show your ActiVan registration card and a valid photo ID

3. Pay using Youth Taxi Scrip coupons
   Use coupons toward the fare shown on the meter. If the fare is not a whole dollar amount, you are required to pay the extra only if it’s more than 60¢.

   • Example: Fare is $15.72 - you pay 15 Taxi coupons, and 72¢.
     Note: Coupons cannot be used as a tip

Youth Taxi Scrip Coupon Books

A Youth Taxi Scrip Coupon Book has a total face value of $20, but you pay $12. Each book contains 20 coupons valued at $1 each.

• The Youth Taxi Scrip Program is for personal use of registered youth only

• Coupons cannot be sold or resold to another user or any other person

• Abuse of this policy will result in dismissal from the Taxi Scrip Program
