A municipal by-law is a regulatory law passed by the Town under the authority of a provincial act. By-laws are created to address local issues and concerns in our community.

The Town's municipal law enforcement officers are responsible for enforcing all municipal by-laws. If you believe an infraction has occurred and wish to report it, please complete an Enforcement Request. Enforcement Services does not take anonymous complaints and all information is collected and protected under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA). If you need immediate, emergency assistance outside of business hours, contact Halton Regional Police Service.

Parking

Parking is regulated in the Town of Halton Hills for public safety, maintenance and accessibility of our residents. Maintenance of public parking lots is completed by the Town's Public Work Division.
