The Hillsview newsletter is available at both locations as well as the Halton Hills Public Libraries, Civic Centre and Gellert Community Centre. The newsletter outlines our drop-in activities, active living programs as well as upcoming special events.
It was a lively meeting on Feb. 9 as people gathered to
speak with personnel from ActiVan regarding changes coming up in the Service,
Riders were made aware of changes that have already taken place and the merits
of these were challenged but in the end
did understand the need for change as the ridership is growing. The audience
was quite interested in the future of ActiVan as part of the proposed
transportation system for Halton Hills. Changes are necessary as the population
grows and the need increases and to make the system more efficient to manage

The search is till on for any members who would like to take
a position with the Board of Directors. Just let the Office know and get your
name on the list. Elections will take place at the Annual General Meeting on
Thursday, April 12.
The space for candidates for President to be elected is
still blank. I know there are lots of good people who would handle this
position well. Please give it your serious and put your name forth.
Registration for the spring session of Active Living
Programs starts on Wednesday, Feb. 29. Don’t miss out because you waited too
long to sign up.
A reminder that the Centre will be closed on Monday, Feb.19
for Family Day.
The closing date to sign up for the Oh Canada, Eh trip is
Tuesday, Feb. 20.
We are taking a trip to a Blue Jay’s Baseball game on
