The Hillsview newsletter is available at both locations as well as the Halton Hills Public Libraries, Civic Centre and Gellert Community Centre. The newsletter outlines our drop-in activities, active living programs as well as upcoming special events.
Yes. We are open throughout the summer months. Most of our drop-in programs continue for July and August. Many of the Active Living Programs run through the summer as well. You have probably registered for these. If not you will need to do so soon. If you need further information please call the Centre at 905 877 6444.
Bingo, Tuesday sandwiches and Monday hot lunches are on hold until September. Gail will continue with Wednesday lunches throughout the summer as long as the interest is there and pizza is still on the menu for Friday's.
Thursday, July 4 is the date for our 2nd Annual Used Women's Clothing Sale. There is a wide and varied assortment of clothing available. The sale will be open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Items not sold will be donated. All proceeds go towards your Centre. Sale is open to the public. Remember the saying 'the early bird gets the worm'.
Have you purchased your ticket to join with Reverend Tammarishka Kerman on Wednesday, July 10 at 7:00 pm as she brings messages from loved ones from the spirit world. Please be advised that not everyone will receive a message. This event is open to the public as well. We suggest you get your ticket in advnce.
Your next Friday Toonie movie dates are July 5 and July 19. The next Tuesday movie date is July 16 at 10:00 am.
The scrap booking ladies tell me their program will continue during the summer. They get together Tuesday's from 12 to 4 and always welcome new comers.

The coffee card has become very popular. You buy a card for five dollars and get six coffees. Then you don't have to worry if you don't have a loonie.
