Halton Hills has moved into the Red Zone of the Provincial Recovery Plan. Recreational swimming and skating will resume on Monday, February 22 with registration beginning Thursday, February 18. We appreciate your patience as we work through the logistics to safely resume programs under the Provincial directions.
Registration for programs running Monday, February 22 to Thursday, February 25:
• Registration opens Thursday, February 18 for all four days.
• Registration start times: Swimming 8:30 am / Skating 9:00 am
Registration for programs running on or after Friday, February 26:
• Registration opens 7 days in advance of the program. See details in sections below for registration start times.
Registration start times |
Registration begins 7 days before program start times. |
Facility access |
To reduce congestion and the spread of COVID-19, there will be no access to the facility until 15 minutes prior to program start times. To determine your program start time, check your confirmation or refer to this website. Pre-registration is required for all programs. Pre-screening is encouraged using haltonhills.ca/simpletrack. |
Non-residents |
48-hour registration delay for non-residentsDue to reduced spots in programs and increasing local demand, registration for non-residents is delayed by 48 hours. This is an attempt to meet Town of Halton Hills resident's needs first. The delay comes into effect for programs running the week of December 14 and after. Non-resident feeAn additional 20% charge has been added to the cost of programs for non-residents. This was a recommendation adopted as part of the fee review strategy. |
Program cancellations and inclement weather |
Program cancellations are actively updated online during normal weekday operating hours. Recreation facility closures due to inclement weather, mechanical failure, pool fouling or other cause will be communicated in the following ways: During regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
After hours and weekends
If your program is organized through a third party, please contact your leagues for updates. On business days when inclement weather occurs, closure and cancellation decisions will be made for daytime programs by 8:45 a.m. and evening programs by 2:00 p.m. Please note: Persons registered in a Town of Halton Hills Recreation and Parks program will not be contacted via phone. |
