Volunteers Encouraged to Register for Celebration

HALTON HILLS, ON – Community volunteers are invited to attend a celebration in their honour on Thursday June 16^th as the Town says ‘thank you’ for their contributions to making Halton Hills a more caring, connected, and compassionate community.

The event will be hosted by the Town of Halton Hills and guests can drop in anytime between 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Dominion Gardens Park for entertainment, refreshments, games, and fun.

“I look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces at this favourite event,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “Recognizing our volunteers is particularly important given the hardships that people have had to endure through the past two years of the pandemic. I am pleased we can gather for this wonderful celebration!”

Community members of all ages who have contributed through volunteerism in any way to the community in the last four years are encouraged to attend this drop-in, walk-through event. RSVP online or by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator. 

Volunteers interested in attending are asked to RSVP by May 23, 2022.
