HALTON HILLS, ON – Join us in celebrating actions that support a resilient and environmentally healthy Halton Hills at this year’s Go Green Halton Hills event! Taking place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. inside and outside of the Halton Hills Public Library (9 Church Street, Georgetown), this free, family-friendly event is your chance to explore local environmental initiatives and discover how you can make a difference.
Presented in partnership with the Halton Hills Public Library, the Downtown Georgetown Farmers Market, and Plug’n Drive, Go Green Halton Hills brings together environmental organizations, local green businesses, and community members.
“Join us for a fun-filled morning to learn how you can take action to support our local environment. Talk to community champions who work and volunteer in making a difference in Halton Hills by supporting biodiversity through planting trees and pollinator plants, removing invasive species, supporting birds, and operating local green businesses that support a healthy economy”, said Mayor Lawlor.
Go Green Halton Hills invites you to celebrate climate action with a vibrant lineup of free activities, expert insights, and hands-on experiences for all ages. Discover how small changes can make a big impact:
