As per the Planning Act, the Town of Halton Hills is required to report on planning application data to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing on a quarterly basis in accordance with Ontario Regulation 73/23. In part, this regulation is intended to standardize how municipalities collect and report data related to development applications and the number of housing units proposed or approved. This data is collected and shared in accordance with Ontario Regulation 73/23: Municipal Planning Data Reporting.
The information collected includes details on applications received, processing timelines and the number of new housing units proposed and approved for each reporting quarter, for the below listed application types:
