Fire Operations and Suppression focuses on how Halton Hills Fire & Emergency Services responds to emergencies.

The department operates with a combination of full‑time and part‑time firefighters, providing emergency response services 24 hours a day, seven days a week across the municipality.

Emergency Response Services

Fire Operations personnel are trained and equipped to respond to a wide range of emergencies, including:

  • Structural, vehicle, and wildland fires

  • Motor vehicle collisions and extrication

  • Hazardous materials incidents

  • Emergency medical assistance

  • Technical rescue incidents, such as water, ice, or confined space rescues
