Taxi Programs

The Town of Halton Hills offers taxi support programs to help residents travel safely and independently within the community. These programs provide subsidized taxi fares for eligible residents who may face transportation barriers, are unable to use conventional transit, or require flexible, door-to-door transportation. The Town offers 2 programs; learn more about them below.

Taxi Scrip Program

The Taxi Scrip Program is available to registered ActiVan members, providing riders a 40% discount on regular taxi fare (with participating taxi companies) through the Taxi Scrip Coupon Book.

Youth Taxi Scrip Program

The Youth Taxi Scrip Program is a service for Halton Hills youth ages 13 to 24, providing riders a 40% discount on regular taxi fare (with participating taxi companies) through the Youth Taxi Scrip Coupon Book.
