HALTON HILLS, ON – The Helson Gallery is proud to present "Shifting Grounds: The Art of Uncertainty," on view from May 14 – July 13, 2025. This exhibition showcases selected works from talented local artists. Participating artists were challenged to explore themes of unpredictability, change, and the human experience of navigating an ever-shifting landscape. Through their art, they address the current economic, political, and environmental uncertainties, offering unique interpretations and insights. The exhibition features 43 Halton Hills artists, and includes painting, photography, sculpture, drawing and mixed media.
Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, May 15 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Helson Gallery. This event is an excellent opportunity to meet the artists and gain a deeper understanding of the pieces on display.
“Shifting Grounds: The Art of Uncertainty, explores a variety of perspectives from our talented local artists," said Mayor Lawlor. “This exhibition highlights the creativity within our community and encourages us to consider how to navigate complex realities.”
The Helson Gallery is located at 9 Church St., Halton Hills and is open Wednesday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.
