HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is proud to announce that its Communications Division has been recognized for excellence at the prestigious MarCom Awards. This international competition celebrates outstanding achievement in marketing and communication, honoring the creativity and dedication of industry professionals.
The Communications Division submitted four projects in seven categories and was recognized for all entries, receiving two Platinum Awards, three Gold Awards, and two Honorable Mentions. These accolades reflect the exceptional talent and commitment of the team, whose work continues to set a high standard for municipal communications. Entries are scored by judges in Washington D.C., and Dallas as follows: 90-100 points are Platinum winners, 80-89 points are Gold winners, 70-79 receive an Honorable Mention. Entries scoring below this threshold are discounted.

The MarCom Awards honor excellence in marketing and communication while recognizing the creativity, hard work, and generosity of industry professionals.
Since its inception in 2004, MarCom has evolved into one of the largest, most-respected creative competitions in the world. Each year about 7,000 print and digital entries are submitted from dozens of countries.
MarCom is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization, founded in 1995, consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, digital, and web professionals. AMCP administers recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the community.
The Town of Halton Hills, with a population of approximately 64,000, consists of two urban centres, Georgetown and Acton, the Halton Hills Premier Gateway employment area, three hamlets – Glen Williams, Stewarttown and Norval and several smaller settlements. Halton Hills has long been recognized for its natural beauty, active agricultural community, high quality of life and proximity to major centres, including Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto. The Town is ranked as one of the top small communities in Canada by a national magazine.
