HALTON HILLS, ON – The Helson Gallery is thrilled to present Too Many Pictures, Not Enough Walls: The Art Collection of Dale and Dave Cox, on view from May 13 to July 12. This exhibition offers a rare look at the personal art collection of Halton Hills residents Dale and Dave Cox, whose lifelong careers in animation have shaped a strong passion for visual storytelling.
The exhibition features a selection of artworks and animation stills reflecting the Coxes’ professional backgrounds, creative influences, and personal interests. Their extensive collection highlights the connections between animation and fine art, while celebrating their long‑standing support of artists. As art donors and supporters of local artist events their generosity has made them key contributors to the local arts community.
“This exhibition is a wonderful example of how creativity enriches our community. Dale and Dave Cox have made a lasting contribution to Halton Hills through their dedication to the arts, and we are proud to showcase their collection at the Helson Gallery,” said Mayor Lawlor.
Providing further insight into their creative practice, visitors are invited to attend a reception and special screening of short films animated by Dale and Dave Cox on Saturday, July 4 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Helson Gallery and John Elliott Theatre.
The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours.
The Helson Gallery is located in the Halton Hills Public Library and Cultural Centre at 9 Church St., Georgetown and is open Wednesday to Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 – 5 p.m.
