Pavement management has been an annual local resurfacing program since 2003. The Town’s Transportation and Public Works Department, Engineering and Construction Section manages the annual road maintenance and improvement plan which includes pavement management resurfacing and capital works construction programs to renew and enhance infrastructure across Halton Hills.
All road resurfacing work will be supervised and administered by Town staff. Residents in affected areas will be notified of project details before the work starts and any weather-related delays throughout the project.
The Town of Halton Hills, with a population of approximately 60,000, consists of two urban centres, Georgetown and Acton, the Halton Hills Premier Gateway employment area, three hamlets – Glen Williams, Stewarttown and Norval – and several smaller settlements.
