HALTON HILLS, ON – This February, the Town of Halton Hills invites residents to participate in events and workshops that showcase the significant contributions of Black artists and creators in Canada. Free programs are being offered at the Halton Hills Public Library and Cultural Centre, Hillsview Active Living and Acton Youth Centre throughout the month. “This year’s Black History Month programs will engage the public through visual art, music, and literature,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “These programs provide residents with an opportunity to learn from the personal stories and lived experiences of Black artists and cultural leaders in our community.
