HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town’s Hey Neighbour program is rooted in a straightforward but meaningful idea: bringing people together. By encouraging stronger relationships among residents, the Town continues to build a welcoming and engaged community. The upcoming Community Social initiatives are designed to further support this commitment to neighbourhood connection.
“Knowing your neighbours is part of what makes small-town living so special,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “The Hey Neighbour program brings our Town’s motto to life by creating opportunities for residents to connect through relaxed, enjoyable gatherings.”
This year’s community events in Acton and Georgetown, will provide residents an opportunity to get to know one another, connect with the “Hey Neighbour” team, chat with elected officials, meet first responders, explore EMS vehicles, enjoy outdoor activities, and learn more about the Town in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Community Socials run from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the following locations:
Coffee and light refreshments will be available.
Note: these events will take place ‘grey or shine’. For more information, visit the website at haltonhills.ca.
