HHLC is a special type of swimming lesson for a special type of swimmer!
HHLC introduces young swimmers to ‘lifesaving sport’. They will improve stroke technique and endurance while incorporating increasingly complex aquatic skills. HHLC also promotes a healthy attitude towards competition – swimmers focus on achieving personal best times and improving their technique in a supportive, positive environment.
First time HHLC swimmers should register in Beginner. In order to participate, swimmers must have completed Swimmer 3 and be comfortable in deep water. After Beginner, swimmers will progress through Intermediate, Advanced, and Development based on Coach recommendations reflected on progress reports.
If you have questions about which level would be the best fit for you, please email our Recreation Coordinator of Aquatics.
