Building Permit Application

To apply for a building or demolition permit, you must use the Province of Ontario's Application to Construct or Demolish. You will also need to submit the plans and documents that relate to your project.

Before a permit is issued, Town staff review the submitted plans and documents (such as architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection drawings) to make sure they meet the requirements of the Ontario Building Code. Detailed submission requirements can be found in the Town's Building By-law.

Building permit fees must be paid when you submit your application.
