Halton Hills Council

The Town of Halton Hills Council is elected by residents of Halton Hills for a four-year term of office through the municipal election process. The Town has a Mayor, two Regional Councillors and eight Ward Councillors.

Meetings & Workshops

Town of Halton Hills Council and Committee meetings are governed by the Town's Procedure By-law. Council and Committee meeting dates are available on the Town's Meetings and Workshops Calendar. Members of the public can request to appear as a delegation if they would like to speak before Council or submit comments via email in advance of the meeting. Submitted comments are circulated to Town Council and become part of the public record.

Advisory Committees and Boards provide advice and recommendations to Council on a range of topics, helping to reflect community perspectives in decision‑making.
Opportunities are available for residents to participate and contribute to local governance.
