Aqua Fitness

Aqua fitness programs in Halton Hills offer a low‑impact, full‑body workout in the water. These sessions are designed to improve strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness while reducing stress on joints. Aqua fitness is suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

Two ways to register:

Drop-in attendance

  • Check the schedule to find a class. Program capacities apply, first come – first served.

  • Arrive up to 15 minutes before class and check in at the front counter.

  • $7.50 per class – debit, cash, or credit accepted.

Aquafit memberships available. Pay $52.50 for a 30-day membership, which entitles you to unlimited Aquafit classes and unlimited recreational swimming. Please note, you cannot register in advance using the Aquafit membership.

Register in advance

  • Reserve your space in a class by registering up to 7 days in advance. No refunds or transfers are available after you have registered.

  • Log into your online account and sign up for a class. If you need assistance with the registration process, please speak to our customer service staff at the pool.

  • $7.50 per class – debit, cash, or credit accepted.

You can register in advance for a class using an Active Pass. Active passes do not expire and save you money! 10-classes for $67.50 or 30-classes for $187.50.

Deep Water

Moderate to intense total body workout including cardiovascular and muscle strengthening exercises. Must be comfortable in deep water. Floatation belts are provided and worn during class.

Gentle Aqua Fit

Low level, low impact, low intensity water fitness class. It is ideal for older adults, participants with arthritis, those recovering from injuries or anyone who is looking to start working out.

Running H2O

Start running in the pool! An excellent way to cross-train or rehab an injury. This class will help improve water running technique, form and endurance. An excellent, impact-free cardio workout. You don’t have to be a swimmer as we supply your flotation belt and tether (must be comfortable in deep water). Get ready to sweat!

Shallow / Deep Water Combined

Participants can choose to do this class in the deep or shallow water. The instructor will adapt exercises to meet participant needs. Use the resistance of water to stretch, form and strengthen your muscles. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Please Note: Acton Indoor Pool will be closed June 29 to July 5 for annual maintenance.
