The Town of Halton Hills’ Building & Engineering services help ensure construction and development are safe, compliant and well‑planned. Whether you are a homeowner, contractor or developer, this section provides information on permits, inspections, zoning and residential building requirements.
Our team reviews applications, issues permits, conducts inspections and supports projects from planning through completion — all while meeting Ontario Building Code and municipal standards.
Our counter is located on the lower floor of Town Hall and is accessible during regular hours of operation (excluding holidays) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you would like to meet with any of our Building staff in person, we recommend calling 905-873-2600 ext. 2300 before your visit to request an appointment to ensure their availability.
