Free programs are identified. Regular skating rules apply. Skate and helmet rentals are available with very limited selection of sizes. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early for availability and fitting. Family Day Art Activity

Halton Hills Cultural Centre – 9 Church Street, Georgetown

With inspiration drawn from the current exhibition 'The Royal Collection Trust Project', participants will explore the use of colour-wash media and create their own original works of art to be used as a bookmark. All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Acton Arena & Community Centre - 415 Queen St., Acton

This indoor Play Streets event is part of the Town’s Hey Neighbour initiative and coincides with the work the Town is doing to deliver free, quality, and accessible active programming. Our Hey Neighbour Team will bring, and set up a variety of interactive lawn games and equipment (Giant Jenga, Large Connect Four, Parachute, etc.) for everyone to enjoy!

Mad Science Show

Get ready for a high energy science show bursting with excitement, imagination, and discoveries! Families and kids will enjoy incredible experiments come to life, sparking curiosity and inspiring young scientists to explore the wonders of STEM.

Big Blue Blocks (Acton)

Grab the Big Blue Blocks and turn your ideas into giant creations. Stack them high, make cool shapes, and work together with friends to invent whatever you can imagine.

Join us for a day filled with fun activities for whole family! Enjoy engaging board games, exciting toss games and unleash your creativity at our Craft Corner. Explore the fascinating jail cells and take part in historical tours with our knowledgeable volunteers. There's something for everyone, so come and make lasting memories with us! Drop in, no registration required. All programs are free.

Celebrate Family Day exploring the outdoors! Snap fun family photos during your hikes and scavenger hunt, then share your memories with us on Instagram. Let’s see your Family Day adventures! Then, share your adventures with us on Instagram using #FamilyDayFun and stay tuned for our upcoming photo campaign where we’ll feature your favorite family memories! 

• Date & Time: Saturday, Feb 14 to Monday, Feb 16 from Dawn to Dusk, anytime.

• Location: Willow Park Ecology Centre. Parking off Mary Street in Norval. 

• Enjoy nature trails for self-guided walks and follow the winter trails at your own pace. Scavenger Hunt Cards provided - just over the footbridge entrance find the Kiosk Card Box. Take one to help guide your family’s nature discovery. Explore together to spy clues on the card. Scenic, destination selfie-spots well-labelled.
