“Our constant work to keep the Town’s roads in good repair this summer continue in Acton, Georgetown and the countryside,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “We encourage residents to visit the ROADS 2026 project webpage on Let’s Talk Halton Hills for more information or to connect with Town staff about the construction.”

Pavement management has been an annual local resurfacing program since 2003. The Town’s Transportation and Public Works Department, Engineering and Construction Section manages the annual road maintenance and improvement plan which includes pavement management resurfacing and capital works construction programs to renew and enhance infrastructure across Halton Hills.

All road resurfacing work will be supervised and administered by Town staff. Residents in affected areas will be notified of project details before the work starts and any weather-related delays throughout the project.
