Town of Halton Hills Celebrates Small Business Week with Renewed Programming

HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills is joining communities across Canada to celebrate Small Business Week 2026. Through the third week of October, the Town is recognizing entrepreneurs and local businesses that drive economy, create jobs, and help make Halton Hills a vibrant place to call home.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community,” said Mayor Ann Lawlor. “As someone who grew up in a family retail business and was a partner in a local small business, I know all too well, the rewards and the challenges of ‘running your own shop’. I invite entrepreneurs, both seasoned and new, to join us for a week of networking, learning, and growing your business.”

This year, the Town of Halton Hills is bringing back programming to support new and growing businesses and encouraging the community to learn more about Halton Hills businesses and shop local.
