Halton Hills, ON - The Town will be completing active transportation improvements on Maple Avenue and operational and safety modifications at the Maple Avenue and Guelph Street (Highway 7) intersection.
Set to begin this spring and continue into the summer of 2021, the proposed roadway improvements include:
“Ongoing road work is part of the Town’s annual pavement management plan and capital works construction program are designed to renew and improve infrastructure across Halton Hills,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “We do our best to minimize traffic impacts however, localized traffic closures can be expected during the construction period.”
New this year, residents are invited to visit the Town’s engagement platform Let's Talk Halton Hills to access detailed information including maps of the proposed construction area and to connect with Town staff about the Maple Ave project and any potential disruptions and concerns.
All work will be supervised and administered by Town staff. Should projects in the Roads 2021 Program be delayed by factors such as weather or direction received from the Provincial and Federal governments with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic, residents will receive a hand-delivered notice from the Town explaining the details of the delay.
