When you have completed creating your profile, please note the following:
Why can't I register for a program? Inside the program schedule, all programs show a button that reads 'more info'. This will change to ‘Register’ at the registration start date on Sept. 12th. Note: Program information and details continue to be added in preparation for that date, so some info you see now may change.
Why can't I book a facility? The ‘Reserve Facility’ button directs customers to our current Town of Halton Hills facility webpage. After Sept. 12th, this will be updated to display
I can't see any memberships (passes). This section is intentionally ‘turned off’ and will display all pass options starting on Sept. 12th.
Once logged in, choose the 'Schedule' tab to browse program categories to find what you're looking for. Note: While you can browse, programs will not be available for purchase until the registration start date. If you prefer, you can search for a specific program code, provided in the Community Activity & Service Guide, or search by name, category or location.
What do I need to register online?
A valid email address and contact name is required to create an online account. Once your account has been created, you will need a credit card to pay for registrations online.
If you don't have an email address, you cannot set up an online Recreation account and have access to online registration. You can still browse through Recreation programs and check for program availability. However, you will not be able to register or waitlist for a program online. Instead, use an alternate method of registration such as by mail or in person (see webpage for details).
How do I add family members to my Recreation account?
Visit the Program Registration webpage on the Town of Halton Hills website and click on the orange Create Account button. After loggin in, click on the Add Members button at the top of the page and filling out the appropriate information.
I found the program I like - why can't I add it to my cart and check out?
This feature will be available at the registration start date - 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12th. Unil that time, you will be able to browse but you won't be able to select or add programs to your cart.
Can I cancel once I have registered for a program?
If you have not paid yet, programs can be removed from your cart or you can clear your whole cart. However, once your registration payment transaction has been completed in checkout, you cannot cancel out of a program online. All cancellations must be processed through the Program Information Hotline at 905-873-2601, ext. 2275.
Withdrawals and refunds
If a participant withdraws from a program at least 2 business days (5 business days for March Break camps) prior to the first day of the program, a refund less a $9.93 administrative fee (subject to change) will be issued. Sorry, there is no reimbursement once the program has started. If the program is cancelled by Recreation and Parks, you will receive a full refund. Please allow two weeks for processing.
Changes and Cancellations
Even though you are provided with a program confirmation, insufficient registration may still cause a program to be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any class time, fee, instructor or location if needed. Every effort will be made to avoid these changes or to reschedule make up classes when possible.
Will programs be cancelled for inclement weather?
In rare cases, poor weather conditions or power outages may require a facility closure and program cancellations. If there is inclement weather, a notice will be posted at the top of the halton hills website homepage at www.haltonhills.ca. Also, follow us on Twitter @_HaltonHills or call the town at 905-873-2601 ext. 2708 or 2275. Decisions will be made for daytime programs by 8:45 a.m., and evening programs by 2:00 p.m.
When can I register for programs?
Registration starts on Wednesday, September 12th at 7:00 a.m.
New family account set-up required. Beat the rush!
Your current family account will no longer be valid in the new system. However, it’s easy to set up your own family account online. Choose the “Create Profile” button at the top of this page and follow the steps. Creating your account early will help you by avoiding the rush at the registration start date. It will also help us in the transition between software systems and get your new account up and running as smoothly as possible. Reminder: The registration start date is Wednesday, September 12 at 7:00am. We appreciate your patience as we learn to perfect the new system.

Due to new system requirements, information previously saved in your current family accounts cannot be imported and PIN numbers will no longer be required.
Registration is about a week later than normal this year due to the transition to the new system

Fax registration forms to 905-873-1587. Fax registrations must include a Visa or MasterCard # with expiry date.
Mail in registrations must be accompanied with a current cheque, payable to Town of Halton Hills, Visa or MasterCard payment.

Registrations may be dropped off with payment at the Recreation & Parks counter, lower floor of Town Hall during office hours or at our three 24 hour drop boxes:

Acton Community Centre: 415 Queen St (Hwy#7), Acton
Gellert Community Centre: 10241 Eighth Line, Georgetown
Drop boxes are emptied the next business day and forwarded to the Town Hall for processing.
Forms are available in the Town’s Community Activity and Service Guide as well at Town facilities.
Please complete one form per person per program.
Indicate whether or not your address has changed and if you are a new family.
Please submit SEPARATE PAYMENTS for each registration form. Include VISA or MASTERCARD No. and expiry date or cheques made payable to "Town of Halton Hills". For special financial arrangements please see the Town's brochure.
Indicate alternative choices on each form. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your 2nd and 3rd choices automatically if the 1st choice is unavailable.
Please check appropriate box to indicate if you have a “Health Condition, ‘Anaphylactic Allergies” and/or "Special Need". Please refer to the Town's Guide "Recreation for All" for more information on Special Needs or Health Conditions.
All adult fees include HST.
An administrative fee will be charged on all cheques returned NSF.
PARmed-X for pregnancy is a guideline for health screening prior to participation in a prenatal fitness class or other exercise.
If a registered participant cancels as least 2 business days prior to the first day of the program, a refund less a $9.93 administration fee will be provided. Sorry, there is no re-imbursement once the program has started.
If the entire program is cancelled by Recreation and Parks, a full refund will be provided. Please allow two weeks for processing.

Swimming Lesson Cancellation
Should it be necessary to cancel a swimming class due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make every effort to schedule a makeup class. If this is not possible, a credit will be given to participants.
