To find the current schedule for recreational swimming on our website, visit haltonhills.ca/swimming and browse the swim schedule on desktop or mobile devices. The schedule is also printed in our Town Guide, available at all Town facilities.
- What amenities are available at the Gellert pool?
The Gellert offers fun features to make your swim more fun, including the Tarzan rope, hot tub, sauna, on-deck shower and water slide. Note: amenities may be closed without notice due to maintenance or operational issues. Admission fee does not vary based on which amenities are available.
- What amenities are available at the Acton Lion's Indoor Pool?
The Acton Lion's Indoor Pool offers fun features to make your swim more fun, including a sauna, on-deck shower and diving board. Note: amenities may be closed without notice due to maintenance or operational issues. Admission fee does not vary based on which amenities are available.
- Are your pools accessible?
All facilities are wheelchair accessible, and all of our pools are equipped with a chair lift for easy entry.
- What do I do with my belongings while I'm swimming?
Change rooms offer lockers for storage, with the option of coin-operated locks. For maximum secuirty, we recommend leaving valuables at home as the Town is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

All Town of Halton Hills pools adhere to our Pool Admittance Policy. Swimmers who do not meet the requirements for the Admittance Policy will not be granted admission to the pool. Family, Youth and 55+ swims have additional age requirements. Please refer to Swim Types above.
AGES 0-6
Children age 6 and under may not be admitted to the swimming pool unless they are accompanied by a guardian 14 years of age or older. The guardian is responsible for their direct supervision and must be in the water and able to assist immediately. Maximum 2 children per guardian.
AGES 7-10
Children age 7 to 10 who are non-swimmers must be accompanied by a guardian 14 years of age or older. The guardian is responsible for their direct supervision and must be in the water and able to assist immediately. Maximum 2 children per guardian.
Children 7 to 10 may be admitted to the pool unsupervised only if they can pass the facility swim test. Swimming with a buddy is strongly recommended
Family Swim Exception: All minors must be directly supervised by a guardian 18+ years. Guardians must be in the water.
AGES 11+
Children age 11 years or older may be admitted to the pool area unsupervised. Swimming with a buddy is strongly recommended.

Facility Swim Test:
Test is a minimum of two widths of the swimming pool. Swimmer may also be required to tread water up to 1 minute.
Medical Conditions:
Individuals with serious medical conditions or developmental disabilities are at a greater risk while swimming. They should be accompanied at all times by another individual with knowledge of their condition and who can provide immediate assistance if needed. Acton and Gellert indoor pools are equipped with a chair lift for easy entry into the pool. Gellert pool also has a ramp into the 25m Canadian Tire Pool.

The privacy and comfort of our pool customers is important to us! Therefore the use of any device capable of rendering a photographic image is prohibited in showers, changerooms, washrooms and adjoining areas. Your cooperation is appreciated.
