HALTON HILLS, ON – This spring the Town of Halton Hills will be rolling out a series of Ward Meetings as part of the municipality’s work in engaging the public. Each meeting will include presentations on community-wide and ward-focused issues.
To help shape each meeting’s agenda, the public is invited to share their thoughts using the Town’s online engagement platform: letstalkhaltonhills.ca
“This is a first-time initiative for the municipality and I’m pleased with this opportunity to connect with the public,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “The presentations for each meeting will be tailored to the interests of the specific ward and public input will inform as to what these topics might be.”
The Mayor will attend all of the meetings along with the specific Ward Councillors. Each meeting will feature a variety of presentations and include time for questions and answers.
“I know that Council members are keen to participate in this opportunity,” said the Mayor.
Ward meetings will open with passive displays followed by presentations. Dates and locations are pending and will be noted on letstalkhaltonhills.ca
