HALTON HILLS, ON – The Halton Hills Bicycle Friendly Community Committee, Smart Commute Halton and the Office of Sustainability are hosting their annual Noon Hour Bike Ride event for the sixth year in recognition of the globally celebrated Bike to Work Day. Join Town staff, residents, local commuters and cycle enthusiasts on Monday, May 28 for a leisurely noon hour bike ride. Bring your own picnic lunch and enjoy it when we stop for a lunch break part way through the ride at the Georgetown Fairgrounds.
The Noon Hour Bike Ride event will begin at 11:45 a.m. at the main entrance of the Town Hall located at 1 Halton Hills Drive in Georgetown. Participants will depart together at 12 noon. To join the ride, please email the organizers in advance at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
This free event is an opportunity to experience a casual bike ride through nature trails and quiet residential streets.

It reminds people to take a break from their hectic lifestyle, get outside for some fresh air and have some fun!” said Councillor Jane Fogal, Chair of the Halton Hills Bicycle Friendly Community Committee. “This event is open to everyone in the community and I hope you can join us.”
