Running for Municipal Council |
The Town of Halton Hills and Town of Milton, in conjunction with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, will be hosting a candidate information session on Wednesday, May 2, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Town of Milton, Town Hall, 150 Mary Street, Milton. The session will focus on municipal election campaigns, campaign financing, changes in legislation and more. If you are planning to attend the information session, you are encouraged to book your seat. Space is limited, so make sure you book early. How to register as a candidate |
Nomination forms can be filed with the Clerk's Office - Service Halton Hills Counter starting 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 until Friday, July 27, 2018, at 2 p.m. To register your nomination you may do so during regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday) during the nomination period. A candidate must register in person with the Clerk or designate prior to raising campaign funds or incurring campaign expenses. |
