The Community Partnership Program (CPP) provides support for community-based activities, events and initiatives that align with the Town’s priorities.
The Town of Halton Hills believes that governments, community groups and organizations have a shared responsibility to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of life and well-being for residents. As a result, the Town of Halton Hills establishes partnerships through the Community Partnership Program to allocate municipal funds and resources.
Community organizations can now submit applications to the Halton Hills Community Partnership Program for community-based activities, events and initiatives that have outcomes that align with the following priority areas:
Applications for funding are open now until February 17 at 4:30 p.m. One application may be submitted per year.
Community groups, neighbourhood groups and organizations can choose one funding stream for their activity, event, or initiative. Funding streams include:
Apply for community project funding
Apply for neighbourhood project funding
Waiver of municipal fees for designated reoccurring events that take place on Town of Halton Hills’ property, that contribute to community vibrancy and draw broad public participation. This includes expenses related to facility rental permits, road occupancy permits, load of municipally owned/controlled equipment and delivery fees (sports equipment, picnic tables, pylons, barriers, etc.) and other pre-approved supports for activities, events and/or initiatives.
Event Organizers of returning reoccurring events can discuss their event plans with Community Development staff. Please email our Community Development Coordinator to discuss potential special event support.
The Town partners with community registered groups and organizations based on the guidelines of the Community Partnership Program (CPP) and against the specific criteria of each funding stream. Additional criteria must also be met.
