"Senseless vandalism costs taxpayers money!" That's the message that Mayor Rick Bonnette tweeted out following news that major damage was caused by vandalism at the Harrison School ball diamond over the weekend.
A vehicle tore up most of the turf on the ball diamond and the surrounding areas.
The cost will be approximately $24,000 (labour, equipment and material) to replace the sod and restore the area. Police are involved.
