Halton Hills, ON – This February, residents of Halton Hills are invited to celebrate Black History Month through literary, arts, and educational programs offered by the Town. The public can access content from the Halton Hills Public Library and Cultural Services using the Visit Halton Hills website and social media channels.
Mayor Rick Bonnette will be recognizing Black History Month at the February 1 meeting of Town Council. “It is more important now, than ever before, that we take the time to acknowledge the legacy of Black Canadians and contributions of Black writers as we seek to foster a united, inclusive and equitable society.”
