HALTON HILLS, ON – A new exhibition will open in the Sisnett Lobby of the Town of Halton Hills’ Cultural Centre on December 1, 2021. The Annual Holiday Show and Sale features work in a variety of media by artists and artisans of Halton Hills. Don't miss this opportunity to find the perfect gift for the holiday season and support our talented local artists. The show continues until January 9, 2022.
In the Helson Gallery, Best of the Southern Ontario Visual Artists (SOVA) is currently on view until February 22, 2022. SOVA is a small collective that has been exhibiting together in Ontario for several years. The show features work in a variety of media and styles by Robert Chisholm, Lynden Cowan, Helen Duplassie, Joanne Lomas, Daureen Murphy, Margaret Pardy, Sherry Park, Lynne Schumacher, Steve Wilson and Janice Ykema.
“The Town of Halton Hills Cultural Centre affords artists a great venue for their work in both the Sisnett Lobby and Helson Gallery. I hope people will find time to visit and enjoy these new exhibitions,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette.
The Cultural Centre (9 Church St., Halton Hills) hours are:
Mon: 1 – 8:30 p.m.
Tues – Thurs: 9:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Fri and Sat: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sun: 1 – 5 p.m.
Helson Gallery hours are:
Wed – Sun: 1 – 5 p.m.
Masks and social distancing are required when visiting.
