HALTON HILLS, ON – The Town of Halton Hills recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Acton Dental Office and associated extensive renovations to 22 Mill Street. The exterior renovations fronting Mill Street and Willow Street South in Acton were funded in part by the Town’s Community Improvement Plan (CIP) Façade Improvement Grant program.
“On behalf of the Town of Halton Hills, I would like to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Fadi Sequeira, Dr. Sahib Maallah and Dr. Milad Al-Musfi at Acton Dental; you have not only brought new life to a building that was in need of improvements but are also providing a great service to our residents,” said Mayor Rick Bonnette. “It is always a pleasure to see our CIP programs utilized to make positive changes in our community.”
Improvements to the building included two other leased store fronts that saw a new stucco exterior and stone around the main door; new light fixtures; new stairs; and new store sign boxes.
"We are pleased to officially open our doors to the Acton and surrounding community,” said 22 Mill Street and Acton Dental Office owner, Dr. Fadi Sequeira. “Renovations to our building brought about many challenges. We are pleased to be in a Town that encourages and supports new business investment with valuable and effective programs like the CIP.”
The CIP benefits Halton Hills by attracting private sector investment, assisting with business property upgrades, encouraging the redevelopment of underutilized properties and supporting local jobs.
CIP applications are accepted year-round, subject to eligibility and available funding. For more information, contact the Town’s Economic Development Office at 905-873-2601 ext. 2127 or visit the Invest Halton Hills website.
