The box office will be open to in-person sales at the Georgetown Branch of the Halton Hills Public Library (9 Church Street) at the circulation desk for limited hours. Patrons can drop off order forms with a cheque or credit cards to either branch of the Library and get their tickets held at the venue. And of course, they can print their tickets at home for a small fee.
Theatre policies
- Babes in Arms
- Everyone in the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket, including babes in arms.
- Hearing Assistance
- Headsets systems for the hearing impaired are available at the Box Office in the lobby.
- Special Needs
- The John Elliott Theatre is wheelchair accessible. Please notify the Box Office when purchasing your ticket should you require special assistance. We will be pleased to help.
- Group Tickets
- Special group rates may be available depending on the individual production companies. Please contact the Box Office for information.
- Exchanges
- Exchanges are possible for an alternate performance. The original tickets must be returned to the box office at least 24 hours prior to the event. A fee is charged for this service, and any difference in ticket cost must be paid by the ticket buyer.
- Refunds
- There are no refunds on tickets purchased for any performance at the John Elliott Theatre, except in the case of a cancellation of a performance.
Audience information
- Food and Drinks
- Food and beverages, with the exception of bottled water, are not permitted in the auditorium.
- Recordings
- The use of recording devices, including cameras, video and audio recorders, etc., is strictly prohibited.
- Latecomers
- Out of consideration for both performers and audience, latecomers will only be seated during an appropriate break in the performance.
- Distractions
- Candy wrappers, beeping watches, and mobile devices can be very distracting for audience members and performers. Patrons are asked to turn off personal communication devices.
- Smoking
- The Halton Hills Cultural Centre and John Elliott Theatre are smoke-free facilities.
- Liability
- Ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to the performance or exhibition.
- Admission
- Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket price.
- Strollers
- Strollers and baby carriers are not permitted in the theatre.
