Councillor Bryan Lewis
Bryan is a long-time resident of the Town of Halton Hills, having moved to the area at the age of five. He was first elected to Council in 2000 and is currently serving his fifth term. Prior to entering public life, Bryan was a referee and Director of Officiating for the National Hockey league.
Committee Works
Bryan has devoted considerable time to committee work as a member of Council. He is a member of the following Town committees:
- Planning, Public Works and Transportation Committee
- Site Alteration Committee, Chair
- Finance Committee
He is a member of the Board of Directors for Conservation Halton and Ontario Good Roads Association.
Bryan is interested in applying the skills he developed in his hockey career (without wearing a striped shirt) to helping his constituents and the town in which he lives. He became involved in Halton Hills politics as a way of assisting the rural area (Ward Two) and the caring of all Town of Halton Hills residents. Bryan enjoys spending time with his family including his five granddaughters and one grandson. He can be seen at many ball parks and arenas watching their sporting endeavours.
Bryan appreciates the Town Staff assistance to enable all residents in Halton Hills to maximize their home community of Halton Hills.
