Accreditation 2010 - 2013
In order to maintain funding from the province, Halton Hills Seniors Centres are required to become accredited with CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facility) by September 2013.
The Accreditation of the centres will ensure quality assurance, continuous improvement process and provide a risk management tool, while still achieving legislative requirements.
There is a committee of Centre members Accreditation Leadership Team (ALT) who have been meeting on a regular basis to review and recommend new policies and procedures which will help the Centres achieve the standards of Accreditation.
As policies and procedures have been updated, this has created new Centre manuals. These manuals will help with all facets of operations for the Centres. Updates are posted on the Centre Accreditation Boards.
