2031 Strategic Plan
The Town's Strategic Plan guides the Town's plans, programs and services. The Strategic Plan is implemented through the capital and operating budgets, planning documents, departmental/service area work plans and Council decisions.
Cultural Master Plan
A plan to connect our cultural resources to our decision-making processes.
Cycling Master Plan
In order to meet the principles of environmental stewardship, the Town of Halton Hills wanted to increase the availability of active transportation and active recreation opportunities to residents. As a result of this desire the Town has completed the Cycling Master Plan for Halton Hills.
Economic Development Strategy
The Town of Halton Hills is preparing a new Economic Development Strategy which will guide the Town for the next 10 years. The Strategy when implemented will assist in creating and retaining jobs and increasing property assessment for the community.
Given Town Council's commitment to undertaking actions that will significantly contribute to the achievement of a healthier environment, Mayor Rick Bonnette has assembled a Mayor's Green Plan Task Force for the purposes of preparing a "Green Plan" for the Town of Halton Hills.
Hungry Hollow Ravine Management Plan
Hungry Hollow ravine is a largely undeveloped natural feature in the Town of Halton Hills
(Georgetown). Ongoing growth in the south end of the Town, and the recent acquisition of the
majority of the ravine, has created the need to develop a management plan for this feature.
The International Charter for Walking is focused on creating healthy, efficient and sustainable communities where people choose to walk. It identifies a set of principles which ensures that walking is a safe, healthy and convenient form of urban travel.
Recreation Strategic Action Plan
To outline a strategy to provide cost efficient and quality services for recreation, parks and facilities for the Town of Halton Hills by assessing and updating existing planning documents, developing and delivering a public consultation process, and making recommendations.
Sustainable Halton Plan
The plan anticipates 3.7 million more people and 1.7 million more jobs (based on 2001 Census data) in the Greater Golden Horseshoe by the year 2031, and sets out the Province's vision about how and where municipalities will grow, the infrastructure needed to support that growth, and the cultural and natural heritage resources to be protected.
Transportation Master Plan
Town of Halton Hills, through their Consultant Hatch Mott MacDonald, has initiated a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Study. The TMP Study will provide the strategies, policies and tools required to meet the Town's transportation needs safely, effectively and cost efficiently.
