    The Fall & Winter Guide has arrived!

    The Fall & Winter 2016/17 Community Activity & Service Guide is your one-stop information source for recreation in Halton Hills. The guide, delivered on August 18 via the Independent & Free Press newspaper, is also available at all Town facilities such as the Gellert Community Centre, Acton Arena & Community Centre, Hillsview Active Living Centre, Mold-Masters SportsPlex and the Civic Centre.  In addition, downloadable PDF files of the guide can be found below.

    Registration
    Registration starts August 31, 2016. If you’re ready to register, visit our registration page. Do you have a PIN number? In order to register for Town programs online or by automated phone, you need a family PIN number. Applying is easy and only takes a moment. Visit our PIN request page or call Town staff at 905-873-2601 ext. 2275. If appying for a new PIN, processing may take several days - apply early to avoid delay.

    50 Plus
    Hillsview has a new outlook on older adult living – to remove barriers, build confidence and live healthy, active lives. Come and see us in Acton or Georgetown.

    Aquatics
    All of our pools offer the Lifesaving Society swim programs, with a focus on stroke and skill development. A Water Smart® message is also an important component of our learn to swim program.

    By-Law Enforcement
    The Town’s Municipal Law Enforcement Officers are concerned about the health, safety and quality of life of our residents.

    Cemeteries
    Town of Halton Hills currently operates and maintains Greenwood Cemetery (Georgetown), Fairview Cemetery (Acton) and Hillcrest Cemetery* (Norval). The Town also preserves seven inactive heritage cemeteries, rich in historical significance that date back to 1830.

    Registration
    We offer many convenient ways to register for programs. If you like to plan ahead, you can register for both the fall and winter seasons at the same time. Registrations are processed at Halton Hills Civic Centre on a first come, first serve basis. Fall & Winter registration begins August 31, 2016 and continues until February 2017

    Skating and Shinny
    It’s time to lace up your skates for a healthy and affordable way to have fun. Skating is a great form of exercise that helps to improve balance, strengthen leg muscles and keep you nimble! Enjoy pleasure skating or a game of shinny hockey with your friends. There’s always something cool happening on the ice!
