The Halton Hills Camera Club is proud to present an evening with photographer/adventurer and conservationist Mike Beedel. Join Mike for a multi-media presentation sharing his experiences and journeys to some of his most treasured places along Canada's coastlines. Mike is an award winning photographer who has been exhibited throughout the world. Tickets $15 are available at the John Elliot Theater Box Office.

Helson Gallery Programs
Paint Your Personality
Tuesday, March 7th from 1:30 – 3:30 pm
Georgetown Branch, Studio
Explore the combination of different materials to create a fun image describing your personality! This mixed media self-portrait painting workshop is taught by local artist Stephanie Schirm. No artistic experience is necessary. Fee $10 for all materials.

Hillsview Active Living Centre – Acton
Graham Bowden will share the art of working with this unique medium in a hands-on workshop. Participants will each make and take home a small carving of their own. This program is being held at the Hillsview Active Living Centre in Acton. It is made possible by a New Horizons for Seniors Grant and offered in partnership with Hillsview Active Living Centres. Music at 2 Concert Series
The Music at 2 Series brings classical performers to a beautiful setting in the Helson Gallery at the Halton Hills Library & Cultural Centre. Join us on the third Saturday of the month for a chance to hear beautiful music. Suggested donation of $10.
Spring 2017 Concerts:
- Saturday March 18 - Concert pianist Matthew Pope
Recital to include music of French composers featuring the works of Ravel, D'Indy, Martinu and Chabrier.
- Saturday April 15 - Violinist Edwin Huizinga, Cellist Mary Katherine Finch and Pianist Ronald Greidanus
Theme from Schindler's List as well as Mendelsshon's Piano Trio in C Minor No. 2.
- Saturday May 20 - Soprano Christina Lamoureux and. concert pianist Ronald Greidanus
An afternoon concert including works by Faure, Offenbach, Handel, and Bernstein.

The Helson Gallery is pleased to offer outreach presentations to local service clubs and other organizations. Learn about the culturally significant Helson Collection and Canada’s premier painters, the Group of Seven. A speaker will visit your group and provide a 45 minute talk on these local art treasures along with highlights of the many new gifts of art made to the Town of Halton Hills. Special in-gallery presentations about the Helson Collection are also available.
