Fire Prevention & Education
It is the goal of the Halton Hills Fire Protection and Prevention Services to ensure that all occupancies within the town of Halton Hills comply with the regulations as dictated by the Ontario Fire Code. Fire Prevention Officers within our community are designated as "Assistants to the Fire Marshal". As such, these officers carry out a pro-active inspection schedule designed to enhance the fire and life safety throughout Halton Hills.
The Halton Hills Fire Protection and Prevention Services also provides a number of public education services. Some of the programs include:
- Pre-School Learn not to Burn,
- Risk Watch,
- Older & Wiser.
