Chamber Releases Economic Sustainability Position Paper
The participation of the local business community is key to making our sustainability journey a success. Through their everyday decisions, business can make a valuable contribution to positioning the Town as a recognized leader in sustainability. The Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce's Economic Sustainability Position Paper offers a practical framework to move ahead with this journey.
Water-Efficient Pre-Rinse Spray Valve Program – Region of Halton
Halton Region is currently providing and installing water-efficient, high velocity, pre-rinse spray valves at no charge to local businesses within the Halton Hills area. Restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, long-term care facilities and any other businesses that operate a spray valve assembly are eligible to participate in the water-saving program. The program is designed to help reduce water consumption, while providing equal or improved equipment performance. Since the spray valves are usually used to deliver a concentrated spray of hot water, significant energy savings associated with hot water heating can also be incurred.
