| Description: | 8:00 - 11:00 AM - Pancake Breakfast in the Park served by the Glen Williams Minor Ball Association 10:00 AM - Baseball game between Glen Williams Alumni vs. Glens People (sign up starts at 9:00 AM at the Ball Diamond) 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Tots Activities&Fish Pond (at the playground) 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Face Painting 10:30 AM - Historical Walking Tour leaving from The Glen Mill 12:00 PM - Ever Popular Canada Day Parade - Calling all kids: Decorate your bike and join the Parade at the corner of Wildwood Road&Beaver Street. Parade route begins at Alexander and Confederation and ends at St. John's United Church 1:00 PM (approx.) - At the Gazebo Main Stage immediately following the parade: Opening Ceremonies - 2012 Citizen of the Year Award Cutting of the Canada Day Birthday Cake - Tribute to the Diamond Jubilee Queen Elizabeth - Major John H. Harrison (Guest speaker) 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM - Jaron Freeman-Fox, David Woodhead, Terry Jones 1:30 PM - Ball Game - Bantam Teams (Bantam Chargers vs. Wildcats) 1:30 PM - Seniors' Strawberry Tea at the Glen Town Hall 1:30 PM - Agility Dog Showcase 1:30 PM - Ball Game - Bantam Teams 1:30 PM - Seniors' Strawberry Tea at the Glen Town Hall 1:30 PM - Agility Dog Showcase 1:30 PM - 4:00 PM - Children's Games 1:00 PM - Children's Puppet Show 2:00 PM - Demonstration Rampulla's Martial Arts 2:30 PM - Pizza Eating (Toppers) Contest by the bleachers at the Main Diamond (Sign up for the contest at the Toppers Booth before 1:30 PM) 3:00 PM - Glen Pet Show at the Back Ball Diamond (Prizes for longest tail, shortest nose, best trick and other sundry attributes) 3:00 PM - Demonstration by the Halton Hills Fire Dept. at the rear of the Parking Lot 4:00 PM - The Ducks will leave the Park for their annual race down the Credit River (Winners to be announced at the Gazebo immediately after the race) |
