One certainly gets a different view of hockey when it is explained by someone who is very passionate about his career as an NHL referee. Thanks to Bryan Lewis for taking time out of his busy schedule to talk with us at the Centre on Tuesday.
Many thanks to those who helped setting up, cooking, and serving at the Pancake Breakfast on Saturday. Thanks also to all the Centre friends who came out to support this fundraiser.
Our next guest speaker will be Author/Historian Mark Rowe. Come out and learn some of the history of Georgetown. He will be with us on Tuesday, April 4 beginning at 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon and will share some of the highlights of our history as he takes us through the years of events in Georgetown. Light refreshments will be served.
The next St. Roch lunch will be served on Thursday, April 6. Tickets are now available at Reception.
Friday Flapjacks & a Flick will be an Easter Breakfast on Friday, April 7, served at 10:00 a.m. with the movie “Miracles From Heaven” to be shown at 11:00 a.m. Great opportunity to share breakfast with some friends.
Keep Thursday, April 13 open to attend our Annual General Meeting at 1:00 p.m. There is still time to put your name forward and offer to become a Board Member. Everyone has something to offer so step up to the plate and get involved.
Watch for your invitation to the Volunteer Lunch to take place at the Gellert Community Centre on Tuesday, April 25 @ 12:00 noon with entertainment to follow. This event celebrates our 2016 Volunteers.

April 5 is the last date to sign up for the St. Lawrence Market and Ripley’s Aquarium trip. If you hesitate we will be leaving without you.
