Toonie movie for Friday, Jan. 20 is “You Before Me”. Begins at 1:00 p.m. sharp - $2.00 /member - $3.00/ non-member. Along with the movie you get popcorn and a drink.
Get out those dancing boots and come to the Centre on Friday, Feb. 10 for a lively evening of dancing. Once again “Hawk’s Nest Trio” will be supplying the live music for your dancing pleasure. Tickets are on sale at Reception - $5.00/ member or $7.00/ non-member. Dance is sponsored by McKab Taxi.
A six week question and answer Genealogy Group, led by Bernie Bradner, will be held on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12 noon. It begins Feb. 14. A $12.00 charge will cover the cost of hand-outs and photocopies. Please register at Reception.
The Wine and Cheese evening on Thursday Feb. 21 features Ashley Ransom to share with us his expertise on pairing wines with various cheeses. This evening is presented as part of the Library Story Telling series at Hillsview Active Living Centre. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. Advance ticket sales only - $10.00/ member - $15.00/non-member.
Lifemark (Bayshore) Seniors Wellness Falls and Prevention & Osteoporosis Programs have resumed – Thursdays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 9:00 a.m. to noon. There is still room to join.
The bus trip to Ottawa has sold out but there may be room on another bus. If interested please see Florence.
Drop by and pick up the new pink flyer with information on all the trips to the end of June. Sign-up sheets are available on the Travel Desk for the next five trips. Don’t leave it too late.
